An above average movie due to great performances and a hard hitting end. Vijay Sethupathi is a deadly villain. His daughter falls in love with a lower caste fisherman. The couple elope and what happens after that forms the basic plot. The movie is intense, thanks to the screenplay and Vijay Sethupathi’s characterization. The reason for change in hero’s behavior towards the heroine and the climax is really good. The dubbing voice for Vijay Sethupathi is a sore point. Some of the scenes are predictable and long.
