This is a good attempt but works only in parts due to lack of humour. Akeem has a daughter but according to their law she cannot become the queen. Akeem discovers that he has a long lost son and hence tries to get him back to rule their country. In the first part, the humour was linked to a rich prince working in USA trying to hide his wealth. In this instalment, there are no such moments and hence the film doesn’t make an impact. Still, it is always fun to watch Eddie Murphy.
