2 out of 5 stars

What could have become a good investigative thriller falls flat because of a confused narration. A murder happens in a village. The police arrest the wrong person. Varalakshmi is appointed as the inspector and she takes over the case. How she solves the murder mystery with the help of Danny, the police dog, forms the plot. The director appears to be confused if he should make the film revolve around the brilliance of the dog or portray Varalakshmi as the intelligent crime solver. This is where he loses grip on the narration. Moreover, there is no real suspense to solve and that is another reason why the film is uninteresting. The songs and acting is also not upto the mark.
