3 out of 5 stars

A comedy that works in parts during until the last 30 min and then peaks during climax. Hiphop Thamizha is a person who is affected with nervous laughter syndrome (!) and be ends up laughing whenever he is emotional. This one liner forms the crux of his love story and also results in some serious problems which he needs to tide over. While many of these scenes provide good humour at some stage it turns repetitive. The director realises this and adds an action episode just before the interval which helps big time in the climax where all comedy actors come together to deliver the laughters. The emotions scenes work at times and even some serious talk towards the end works because Aadhi says it. As always while Aadhi is not a great actor, he exactly delivers what people expect out of him. Add to this his trademark songs (I am a big fan of his simple grounded lyrics) that resonates with the masses, the film is a sure shot winner.
