A must watch. Director Sasi is brilliant as always. Wonder why he chooses to make movies at his own pace. He started with Sollamalle some 18 years ago and has made only 6 tamil movies since then. I love his films and this one is equally good. Vijay Anthony is a multi millionaire and he decides to live the life of a beggar for a period of 48days. This act, as suggested by a fakir, will help save his mom who is in a coma. The film is about the ordeals faced by him as he is not supposed to reveal his identity. With the unique storyline, the director has managed to build a commercial film with the right mass elements, interesting dialogues, situational comedy and some good action sequences. It is a thrilling film that draws you in right from the very beginning. I liked the scene where he confronts a rich guy in an imported car and another one where a policeman shakes his hand. There are a lot of interesting dialogues including a solution to prevent black money. The heroine is apt in her role. Music is a big plus. Vijay Anthony needs to improve his acting skills. Looking forward for more movies from Sasi. Don’t miss.
