2.5 out of 5 stars

It is not a bad idea to remake a hit film in another language. However, it is important to ensure that the remake addresses the nativity issues and rectifies some misses in the original. The least that is expected is atleast something that is as good as the original. In this case the hit malayalam original, Bangalore Days has been remade into tamil as a mere photocopy. It is not a bad remake but the lack of pace and some poor acting makes it an ordinary film. Arya, Bobby Simha and SriDivya are cousins. When SriDivya gets married to Rana and moves to Bangalore, Bobby and Arya join her. The entire film is about the life of these cousins in Bangalore. The film lacks pace which was fine for Malayalam but the tamil audience find it tedious. Bobby Simha with his makeover looks out of place. Arya goes overboard in many scenes. SriDivya has acted well. The songs are also not to the regional taste. Again, the film is not bad, it is a good one time watch, just that it is not to the liking of a person who has seen the original.
