Stylish and interesting. It is a period gangster flick where a group of cops wage a guerrilla attack to bring down a gangster and save the city from his group. The film is shot stylishly and has some tense moments. Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling are brilliant. The action scenes are shot well. A slicker editing with faster narration would have made this film better.
