After a long time a proper sci-fi movie. In 2077 earth is deserted as people have moved out to another planet. Earth’s resources are used to power the new planet. Tom Cruise and his partner work in protecting and maintaining this equipment. There are a few aliens who keep attacking this equipment. When Tom Cruise learns the truth about the aliens, his life changes completely. The plot is interesting with some good twists and a nice ending. Special effects are well done. There aren’t many characters in the film and seeing only the two lead pairs for a long time is boring at times. A good watch for sci-fi fans.
