If you are a Jackie Chan fan and you are watching this movie for his fast yet humorous action scenes…you will be disappointed. There is absolutely no action in this film. Except for a hostage situation and a hand fight, this is more a drama than an action film. Jackie uses his negotiation and crime solving skills in this film. Ofcourse, he is old and he can no longer do his earlier stunts but why name the film as Police Story? I am sure there are many who are going to get conned by this title. It is an average crime drama which could have been better with George Clooney or Nicholas Cage….Definitely not my action star.
