Semma mass film. In the last few months we have watched movies that are of different genres but the lack of a proper mass film was always felt. This one is a non stop entertainer that gets the audience shouting in joy and screaming for more. Dhanush is a jobless youth who gets a break and how he succeeds is the simple one line story. Dhanush as a VIP is brilliant. He not only acts well but carries the entire movie with ease. Be it mother sentiment or drunken dance or romance scenes with Amala Paul it the second half punch scenes, he once again proves his versatility. Amala Paul is OK but it is Surabhi who stole my heart. Anirudh’s music is already a big hit and is a crowd puller. There was huge student crowd in theatre that never stopped clapping. This is a sign of a winner. A perfect Dhanush entertainer.
