A fantastic film and it is sad that the film failed to get due recognition during it’s theatrical release. The film is based on MaryKom’s life. Priyanka Chopra has done complete justice to this biopic and deserves a national award for her performance. The film is entertaining and there are no dull moments. Every scene has a meaning and the songs blend well into the film. There are many touching scenes and it makes you clearly realise the greatness of Mary Kom and appreciate womanhood. The screenplay is perfect. A few cinematic moments could have been avoided…especially I hate when someone plays the National Anthem in a movie to bring out our patriotism. This is a concept that has already been beaten to death. Yet, Mary Kom is an exceptional film and don’t miss it.
