Yet another brilliant film written by the Nolan brothers. I am really amazed with Christopher Nolan’s consistency in delivering films that are out of this world. In a distant future, the earth is running out of food. A space pilot is asked to join few others in search of a new planet which would solve the crisis. He leaves his kids to join the space mission. They realise that a minute in the new time sphere is equal to seven years in earth and hence the need to act quickly before people die. Do they succeed in their mission forms the basic plot. The success lies in the gripping screenplay that draws you in within the first few minutes. Another Oscar deserving performance from Matthew McConaughey. Hans Zimmer’s music is extraordinary and is a big asset. If you don’t like Sci-fi films then this one is going to be difficult for you to understand.
