4 out of 5 stars

An action thriller that mostly makes you watch it from the edge of your seat. The film is a cat mouse game involving Arya and the villain. I am not sharing the plot as I don’t want to disclose even the slightest detail and spoil your fan. Arya has played his role to perfection. Hansika has no role to play in the film except for providing a relief in between those nail biting scenes. Credit should go to director Magizh Thirumeni who has come up with an action film that is even better than his second film, Thadayara Thakka. Every scene has a meaning and there are many plot twists that keeps us hooked throughout. Flash forward and then flash back kinda technique has been utilised effectively to build the momentum. The interval block is very good and the way the story moves after the interval is again a proof on the director’s brilliance. Thaman’s music builds the tension further. Few scenes involving Hansika and the not so great climax fight are the only drawbacks.
