4 out of 5 stars

Mahesh Babu is back with a bang. This could have ended up as an ordinary film if not for Mahesh. A star like Mahesh requires a lot of guts to choose an emotion-oriented film and credit should go to director Koratala Siva for ensuring that all the commercial ingredients are added in right proportion to such a film. Mahesh Babu is the son of wealthy businessman Jagapathi Babu. He falls in love with Shruthi and joins her college. He learns from her about how her village and adopts the village. The rest of the film is about the hurdles he faces and how he overcomes. The film deals with the concept of getting back to your roots and adopting a village, which is a good theme. Mahesh babu is extremely stylish and his dialogue delivery in the emotional scenes is very good. The emotional scenes are dealt extremely well and thats the biggest plus. There is a bit of comedy and a lot of action to satisfy the fans. DSP’s songs and BGM are good. Shruthi is the ideal choice and she has done well too. The action sequences are a little over the top but since it is being done by Mahesh, we can bear with it.
