An interesting film and Oscar material. Watched the premiere at Venice Film Festival and the film is going to be released only towards end of December. The film is set in future where human beings have no emotions. They lead a mechanical life and being emotional is seen as a virus infection. If a man and woman get closer, they are quarantined. What happens when the hero falls in love with his co-worker is narrated brilliantly by the director. The film starts slow, has it romantic touching moments and picks speed with many tense moments. Kristen Stewart is brilliant as Nia and deserves an academy nomination. Another biggest plus is the original score which is simply outstanding. A crisper presentation could have made the film more racier.
