4 out of 5 stars

An interesting film based on the subprime crisis. Four individuals predict the housing bubble burst due to bank’s greediness. They try to make money by making using of this. How they stand by their belief and what happens to the crisis is narrated in an interesting manner. The film has some good performances and an interesting screenplay. There is an imaginary wall between the audience and a films character and whenever the character “Breaks the Fourth Wall” and talks to the audience, it is called an “Aside”. The director has used this technique throughout the movie and there are several Aside instances which help you understand the characters better and also at times simplifies this technical subject of subprime crisis. Brilliant!. Having said all this, if finance and subprime crisis are alien to you, you may not enjoy the film as much as the ones who do.
