A good thriller presented in an interesting manner. The film talks about a tough case handled by a police officer (Manju Warrier). An actress gets kidnapped and the police manages to arrest the kidnapper (Kunchacko Boban). The kidnapper says he has killed the actress but does not remember where he has buried her body. Meanwhile another police officer (Indrajit) is also dragged into the case. The police need to find the body before a certain period and the film turns into a mind game series between the police and the accused. Few parallel stories involving the main protagonists links the main plot and things become clear only in the very end. The film moves at a brisk pace and keeps you hooked till the very end. This is director Rajesh Pillai’s last film before his untimely death and his brilliance is witnessed in every frame. The film follows a complex plot and it requires focused viewing. The only reason why the film cannot be termed a classic is because it leaves too many loose ends unanswered and also the motive/methodology adopted by the killer is unconvincing.
