Loosely borrowed from the english film, Buried. I loved the original movie but this one is too farfetched. A young man is kidnapped and buried alive in a coffin. He wakes up to find only a lighter and a mobile phone next to him. His abductor speaks to him and asks him to guess why he has been kidnapped. In flashback, we get to know that he is a lover boy who dates many girls at the same time. We are also shown Rahman as a ACP trying to solve the case and find the buried person before it is too late. Why he has been kidnapped and whether the ACP finds him on time forms the basic plot. The acting is amateur, and this makes the dubbing artificial (imagine someone pouring their life into the voice and the acting is without life). The director and his assistants have failed on many counts…something as simple as the heroine’s sister dreaming about the heroine becoming a doctor, when she is actually studying BSC Math in an arts college. The second half does move at a past pace but we all know the direction in which it will move and where it will end. An experienced director would have done a better job. Karthik Raja’s BGM is good.
